See doctor: In the meanwhile get a bulb syringe to help suck up the nasal secretion. Humidifier may or may not help but worth a try. I am more concerned about the asthma and thus you need to bring him to the pediatrician now.

Monitor closely : if you're infant is very congested, you should use saline to clear the upper airway of mucus and debris. Furthermore, use the albuterol breathing treatment provided and count the respiratory rate. If she is consistently breathing more than 40 to 50 times per minute, you should take her to the emergency department or her pediatrician for quick evaluation.
