No: the CDC recommends cetriaxone 250 mg, by an injection (shot) PLUS either azithromycin, 1 gram, or doxycycline, 100 mg twice a day for 7 days. See http://www.cdc.gov/std/treatment/2010/gonococcal-infections.htm
