No: There are so many infectious diseases and many are limited to certain areas of the world. An id doc may not be familiar with some diseases that occur only on another continent. Other infectious diseases may be so rare that not every id doc is aware of them. But, we know alot about alot of infectious diseases and if we don't know about one we know where to read up about it.
