Little risk for baby: If you acquire chlamydia during pregnancy, the fetus is protected by the envelope of fetal membranes. Only infections that would enter the blood place baby at risk. Treating you for the disease before delivery prevents it from passing to baby.(where it would cause problems)

Treat it: chlamydia can cause eye and lung infection in newborn, show if positive should be treated and the check again to make sure is gone before delivery. hopefully your test will be negative, best wishes
