What memory functions are impaired in autism?

Possibly none.: The autistic spectrum disorders have a lot of different faces; they are related to each other in that they involve impaired communication. This does not necessarily mean memory is effected at all.

Hmmmm: Ad kids have tremendous memories for their particular obsession, eg, movies, cars, sports. Also for slogans, advertisements, jingles, dialogue. They have a difficult time with "w" questions. When, where, who, why. This may impair our ability to test their memory.
