Many causes: Chest pain has many etiologies some times the muscles and ligaments around chest strained. Sometimes injury to ribs and costochondritis. Pain breathing.Inflammation of lining of lungs, pleuritis or pneumonia.The most serious problem would be cardiac etiology orpulmonary emboli from thrombus in legs or extremties.GE reflux most common cause.Physical exam with physician might help.
