Be seen: It depends somewhat. There is certainly some pain and burning that can occur as abdominal muscles are taking beyond their fatigue limit. Sometimes even a tear or injury of the anterior abdominal muscles can occur. But if you have persistent severe abdominal pain whenever you work out, you should be seen to rule out a medical problem such as an aneurysm for example.
