TMJ or: It could be a TMJ (jaw joint) disorder. Other TMJ symptoms would be joint clicking, limited oral opening or headaches. Or a number of other things including dental or gum infection, problems in surrounding tissues (like parotid gland). I recommend you seen an oral surgeon who can examine your and make recommendations.
