Why is the hospital letting my son have as much morphine as he wants?

Morphine: This is of concern. THe reason is that hospitals are graded on how well they perform and "treating pain " is one of those. This was created by our Government (in their infinite lack of wisdom) to punish "bad hospitals". However, due to this there was excessive use of opioids which then transalated into the out patient setting and now the issues we have. TAlk to the doctors at the hospital.
