Hoarse : Hoarseness can occur with vocal overuse like shouting or talking loudly for long periods of time. Also occurs with viral infection or uncontrolled reflux disease. Best treatment is voice rest, hydration. If you smoke and are hoarse, see a throat specialist as soon as possible
