Many reasons: Sometimes it is related to the composition of food you eat. Liquids transit faster than solids. And fats slow down the emptying of the stomach. Some people, just by the variation of people, have slower transit intestinal tracts than others. Some people have medications or illness like diabetes that can affect how the intestinal tract moves along. It's hard to say based on the limited info.
