Why does eczema disqualify someone from joining the army?

Eczema: I can't speak for the US Army. But I might speculate that a person with eczema may develop secondary infections & that symptoms might worsen in some scenarios that could present in the military. The military tries to reduce risk especially if exposed to vigorous duties in challenging environments.
