Missed period: Sometimes work/life stress can delay ovulation, and your period only comes if you ovulate, and is always 13 to 14 days after ovulation. At age 37, a women will frequently have missed periods since the ovary requires more time to be stimulated to produce an egg, which extends the time until the next period can occur.

Yes: Yes. That is not uncommon. However, if you are concerned that you could be pregnant and have missed a period - best to take a pregnancy test.
