Yes: Antibiotic therapy is often associated with diarrhea, some antibiotics are more likely to be associated with this problem. Most often the diarrhea revolves after discontinuation of the antibiotic. If the symtpoms are bothersome, the antibiotic can be changed. If the diarrhea is associated with fever, abdominal pain, mucus are blood in the stool, please see your doctor immediately.
