A member asked:

I found pack of flector patches (diclofenac) in my sons room. what do i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

They âre great: You apply them locally to aching muscles, joints. The advantage is that they deliver a local dose to your sore area. In this case it is diclofenac which is the generic drug of voltaren. It may be effective but if you have many sore areas you will need the oral pill. The patch can have some of the same side effects as the oral pill which is an nsaid. Why did you son have these to treat an injury?
