A member asked:

Which birth control works the best? which has the least amount of hassle?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Reversible contraception: IUD w/levonorgestrel and Nexplanon have the lowest pregnancy rates at 0.2% and 0.05% respectedly. iUD is implanted in uterus for 5 yrs and Nexplanon is implanted in your arm. Low hassle IMO. Irreversible contraception such as tubal ligation “tubes tied” and vasectomy pregnancy rates are 0.5% and 0.15% respectedly. You need to discuss w/ your physician regarding hassle.
