ETD: You can take Mucinex (guaifenesin) DM with Sudafed, but I don't know why you would do that. The dextromethorphan in the Mucinex (guaifenesin) is for a cough suppressant. You're better off taking Mucinex (guaifenesin) D and take one medication to treat the problem. Additionally, you could purchase Nasacort AQ over the counter and use a nasal steroid spray to help your ETD symptoms
