A member asked:

What's it like to have alzheimer's? how can you help a loved one with this condition?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Loss of function: Alzheimer's is a progressive loss of memory. This causes confusion and sometimes paranoia. If you can imagine what life would be like if you could not remember things that others say happened you may have an idea of what the disease is like.
