What would be the best herb for the pain that comes with shingles?

Don't Know: There are a number of allopathic medications (conventional drugs and treatments) that are quite effective. Also, early use of antiviral medication can shorten and moderate the complications. If beyond early treatment, meds similar to Lyrica, (pregabalin) and some SNRI meds like Cymbalta or Nortriptyline can be quite effective. If all else fails then Opioids may be somewhat helpful but generally not as much.
