Can't be Sterile: There is no way to sterilize your mouth. The mouth is filled with a large number and variety of bacteria, viruses and fungi. The best oral hygiene efforts can control germs and clean the teeth from day to day buildups of plaque. I personally use Colgate Total, which has an antibacterial agent in the toothpaste. Flossing, rinsing with mouthwash and professional cleanings are all important too.
