Neural cells: Neural crest cells are migratory cells that give rise to melanocytes, craniofacial cartilage & bone, smooth muscle, peripheral & enteric neurons & glia. Neuroepithelial cells are the stem cells of the nervous system which form neurons, astrocytes & other glial cells. The are called Neuroblasts.
