A member asked:

What is required during an autopsy if someone is shot in the chest?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Full autopsy: Only a complete autopsy will answer the key questions. Was this really a gunshot wound? Can we recover the bullet? Did the person suffer greatly? Was the person already dead from something else (as a clever lawyer would argue)? Did the person have a brain problem that made them act strangely and then get shot? Are there other bullets?
