Medication, not supp: Testosterone is broken down into Dht & e2 (estradiol) under a feedback system not unlike a thermostat. By lowering dht, you can trick body into making more t in order to raise dht. Same w/lowering e2 to raise t. Beware that Dht & e2 are on a seesaw so that lowering one raises other. In other words, always check all 3 levels. Finally, supplements alone can't do this, just medications.

Can't be done right!: Testosterone is converted to 5-dht by 5-alpha-reductase. Drugs that block formation of 5-dht, also lower the androgenic and anabolic effects of testosterone (read the fda labels) do not increase testosterone( Avodart (dutasteride) and finasteride). Dht is the active testosterone, so to speak!
