Ovulation bleeding: Dec 21 is day 19 of your menstrual cycle. In a 33 day cycle this would be the day you ovulate. Ovulation is associated with a dip in estrogen levels, which in some women can cause a slight "hormone withdrawal" bleeding. You will be more certain that this hypothesis is true if you come on your next period January 5, 2015.
