Rashes: Rashes are difficult to diagnose when a patient is not in front of me but I can say that scabies causes intense itch in most patients. I'm not sure an insect bite on cheek is associated with the rash, perhaps a coincidence. If there are changes in detergents, cleansers, or introduction of a new food, then that has to be taken into consideration. Any travel (sand fleas, bed bugs)?
