Smell: Make sure no milk is trickling down behind ear. Gently clean with a hypoallergenic and scent - free baby wash and pat dry (don't rub). Seborrheic dermatitis is likely the culprit. In severe cases, a steroid cream could be used but would run by your pediatrician if worsens.
