Urine culture.: For a urine culture, a sample of your urine is collected in a sterile cup and is then sent to a laboratory for analysis. It lets us know if there's a bacterial infection in the urine. It also lets us know the identity of the bacterium and the antibiotics to which the bacterium is sensitive.
