After Dec 21: I would do home pregnancy test 2 weeks after your LH Surge--sometime after December 21. Best wishes!

Now: If that LH surge was from an ovulation, you might have conceived from the intercourse the day before and since a pregnancy test turns positive about a week after conception, should come back positive it you did conceive.
