A member asked:

Intermittent sharp pain below/behind rt eyebrow - was strong one last night, milder but still there now. took aspirin, flonase. should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain behind eye: Do you have any other symptoms? Fevers, chills, change in the color of the secretions ? If so you may be getting an infection. If it is an isolated pain, the Flonase is a good idea. The aspirin is good. You can also use Tylenol (acetaminophen) . A cool compress works nicely as well. Of it is a recurrent problem and is not infected, it could be a muscle tension headache. Treatment is the same as above.
