Hormones: your feamle hormones are still being secreted. Labia are meant to be pendulous to protect the inner vagina. I do not know of medication to lighten the color. As you mature, more blood will flood into these tissues, giving a pinker color.

These vary: As you transition into womanhood your body makes several changes that may/may not be different from what you expect/want. The inner labia stay smaller and tucked inside on some, but can become large elephant ear like structures in others. One side can be bigger/longer than the other. Give it some time to stabilize, but you may want to consult with a gyn surgeon that can trim them back.
