Systemic JRA: This is another name for systemic JRA. There are many immunosuppressive treatment options and your rheumatologist will figure out the best option for you. This is a chronic condition so try to take it a day at a time, follow-up with rheumatologist and make sure you have a good support system.

Need rheumatologist: Still's disease (adult form of systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis) can be very serious and somewhat difficult to treat in some cases. Depending on the severity of your disease, you may need low dose weekly methotrexate, oral daily steroids for flares of disease, and long term treatment with a biologic drug such as Actemra, Kineret, Orencia, (abatacept) Ilaris, or Rilonocept. Must always watch out for MAS.
