If u must take a medication daily that causes constipation as a side effect, will u no longer be able to rid a parasite thru diarrhea / loose stools?

You cannot: "get rid of" parasites with loose stools or diarrhea. The Parasite causes those symptoms and MEDICATION directed to rid you of the parasite is necessary! So take your medication!!! Hope this helps Dr Z

There are 2 problems: Parasitic infection can be treated with Anti parasitic Medication. Constipation can be treated with Stool softener and High Fiber diet. Certain prescription medicines have Constipating side effects . YOu and doctor will have to decide and weigh the options
