See your doc: Can be a few things but GERD (gastroesophageal reflux) and stomach ulcer are at the top of my list. Other things are esophageal spasm, hiatal hernia, and esophageal diverticulum. I think its best to see your doc.

A 49-year-old male asked:
Pain on top of both shoulders?
1 doctor answer • 2 doctors weighed in

Dr. Marc Hirsch answered
Family Medicine 52 years experience
Trapezius: Pain along the top of your shoulders and toward the neck suggests irritation of the top edge of the trapezius muscles. You stress those muscles when you lift weight from below in a rowing motion. It's not necessarily bad if it's from exercise. Try a warm, damp towel around the back of your neck and over your shoulders. Also Acetaminophen or aspirin. If worsening see doctor.
