More testing: There are two tests that should be done if your doctor feels you are at risk for preterm labor. 1. A cervical length done by sonogram 2. A test called a Fetal Fibronectin (FFN). These are the best tests to be done to determine if someone is at risk of preterm labor. Bedrest and a recheck in 4 weeks is not appropriate. If you are deemed to be at risk closer monitoring is warranted.
