Probably not: Nabothian cysts are very common. They are usually painless and most often go away on their own. If you have a painful cyst on the cervix is should be easy to remove it in the office.

Nabothian Cyst: Nabothian cysts are benign cysts of the cervix, similar to acne on the face, caused by trapped cervical mucus inside crypts on the cervix. They are not harmful, and are rarely symptomatic. They are not due to STIs. Tampons should not cause related pain, unless one ruptures causing irritation.
