Mid-cycle bleeding: Mid-cycle bleeding can be associated with the hormonal changes at ovulation or cervical irritation but it can also be a sign of abnormal cervical cells. Be sure that your Pap smears are current and, if you haven't had it, get the HPV vaccine. It works best before the onset of sexual activity but it still gives protection and the new on protects against even more strains of HPV. Be safe.
