No may be superflow: Actually he may have the opposite. If ur dad can force enough air past the Bivona trach tube, he may have enough to vibrate the vocal cords w/o the PMV. Tracheostomy tubes are put in to shorten the airway & help w/ breathing. Ur dad may be recovering enough to where the trach tube can be reversed. Talk to a pulmonary doc, ideally whoever put the trach in. Dont worry too much this may b great news!
