Ovarian fibroids?: The ovary never has fibroid growths within its borders. The fibroid might be on a pedicle next door to the ovary but not inside it. The ovary might have a fibrous cyst or fibroma which is a solid growth within the ovary. If the pain is that severe, it bears evaluation via laparoscopy and possible removal. by a GYN MD.
