My upper right abdomen is a swollen, but it is soft to the touch and there is no pain. what could this be?

Swelling abdomen: Right upper abdomen swelling may be due to many possible causes. Skin infection, trauma, gall bladder/liver issues. The fact that you have no pain is good. Need to monitor for change in digestion, fever/chills, change in bowel habits. If this continues, progresses over 7-10 days, you will need to get checked by your healthcare provider.

RUQ swelling: Swelling without pain or any palpable mass probably nothing need to worry about. If you are convinced you have a swelling get it examined by a professional and probably a ultrasound or ct scan to r/o underlying pathology.
