High cholesterol affect endorine system and hormone inbalance?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Hi. High cholesterol may increase risk of heart attack, stroke, and peripheral arterial disease, but it does not affect the endocrine system adversely or cause a "hormone imbalance" (a completely worthless term and concept, by the way). Get a lipid profile to see what is high. If it's LDL (and maybe VLDL) and/or if HDL is low, you may be at increased risk. Good luck!
