Irregular cycles: Irregular cycles are fairly common when menses first begins. The time to seek evaluation is if menses stop for more than 4 -6 months, there is abnormal hair growth, sudden worsening of acne, increased weight or other symptoms. You should followup with your doctor for further evaluation.
