Can Be Serious: Alcohol withdrawal can be serious. It can cause hallucinations, seizures and can be fatal. These symptoms usually occur in people who are heavy drinkers. In any case you should see a doctor to be treated for the acute effects of alcohol withdrawal and then want to be treated in an alcohol program that usually includes AA & consideration of other psychological treatment with medical care as needed.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
