Though you did not state your questions flu could be confirmed with a nasal swab, if confirmed may benefit fro Tamiflu and also house hold contacts will need prophylasis with Tamiflu. Avoid work and exposure of others by droplet and contact isolation and drink plenty of fluids

Sounds like flu: there are multiple viral illnesses that cause such symptoms But it is flu season and the vaccine is reported to be about 50-60 % effective with his years crop. Tamiflu is controversial -so check with your doctor
