Wait A Few Days: If your period is lighter than normal, then wait and do another pregnancy test. If negative a week after missed period then probably you just had an unusual cycle. Observe for the next few months. 20 to 30% of menstrual cycles are abnormal in most women.

2 day period: May be too early for positive urine HCG. Consider blood HCG or repeat HCG in a week . May be period variation. or vaginitis. If next period does not occur consider sonogram. F/U with doctor urgent care. .
