Low fat is so 1990's: Current thought is that low carbohydrate is superior to low fat for weight loss and heart health. Here is a meta-analysis: http://aje.oxfordjournals.org/content/176/suppl_7/S44.abstract Any diet should include 7 or more servings of fruits and vegetables and adequate amounts of protein.
