Yes: All pickels and other"cured", "salted" meats and cans with food preserved wtih "brine" raise your bloodpressure by virtue of being "salty". SAlt, is basically sodium, and when its concentration in the blood increases after we eat "Salty foods", it increases water retention, which in turn raises "hydrostatic pressure" = "increased blood pressure". The AHA/ACC recommends a low salt diet therefore
