Rest and fluids: most uncomplicated colds are caused by viruses, and tend to resolve on their own. The best thing you can do is to get plenty of rest and lots of fluids. If you develop a high fever or start coughing up thick yellow or green sputum or blood, or have chest pain and breathing problems you should see a healthcare professional. Good luck!

Mostly time.: A cold lasts 7 days if you treat it and a week if you don't. Focus on symptom relief with appropriate OTC cough/cold/sinus meds. Get plenty of rest to help your immune system function optimally. Stay well hydrated. For the sake of others, avoid kissing or sharing glassware & utensils. Use tissue to "catch" your coughs & sneezes, dispose of it promptly and wash your hands frequently.
