My doc took me off advair for 2 weeks to see if it causing my thrush i been taking it for 5 years everyday will i have reaction or anything?

Should be OK: Stopping advair for a while should be well tolerated. Let doc know if you have wheezing or shortness of breath.

Unlikely: Unlikely to have significant adverse reactions from Advair unless you had been on a high dose (500 ug 2x/day) which would lead to some systemic effects. If you have sever asthma however, it may not be a good idea to stop Advair abruptly. Thrush is often caused by failure to gargle and rinse out the throat after usage, Also topical antifungal usually works well. See allergist if needed.
