A member asked:

Am i at risk for rabies if i ate after a dog who had contact with a dead skunk, she licked my food briefly for a few seconds, unknown if she ate skunk?

Highly unlikely: Rabies virus is transmitted via saliva of an infected animal usually through a bite or blood exposure. It is not impossible for rabies to be transmitted through mucus membranes. The situation you describe above is highly unlikely for viral transmission. If the dog appears well then you should be fine.
