Pleuritic: This kind of discomfort is termed "pleuritic" - which basically mean you may have inflammation in the lining around your lungs. This can be caused by many different things, the most common being a virus. Alternatively, you could be having bone or rib discomfort.

See below: I agree, this sounds either pleuritic or musculoskeletal. Have you had a viral illness recently? or over done it with exercise possibly?
